Carol L. (Hornby) Davis

Carol L. Davis, age 86, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp. She enjoyed cooking, baking and cleaning. Born July 4, 1938 in Gastonville, she was a daughter of the late Percy Hornby and Lillian (Seng) Kiger. She is survived by her husband, William E. “Duck” Davis; daughter, Darla Jean (Tom) Turner of Elizabeth Twp.; son, William James Davis of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Tom (Jennifer) Turner Jr., Jennifer (Jay) Borman, Mike (Courtney) Turner and Steven Davis; great-grandchildren, Ty, Cole, Lilah, Isiah, Cassidy, Kobe and Fett; sisters, Bonnie (JD) Timko of Elizabeth Twp. and Mary “Gib” Iddon of White Oak; brothers, Bob Kiger of Belle Vernon and Harry Jones of Elizabeth Twp.; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Michael Church with the Rev. Thomas J. Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
