Barbara (Beattie) Snyder

Barbara (Beattie) Snyder, age 82, of Lincoln Borough, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at home. She was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Clairton and a member of Red Hats. Born December 7, 1938, in Monongahela, she was a daughter of the late Louis "Luke" and Rita (Bonner) Beattie. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William A. Snyder Sr.; daughter, Sharon L. Ferency of Elizabeth; grandchildren, DJ (Desiree) Ferency of Monroeville, Luke (Natalie) Megela of Elizabeth, Adam (Jodi) Snyder of West Newton, William (Sarah) Snyder of Whitehall, Katie (Guillermo) Mendoza of Arlington, TX and Matthew Snyder of Summerville, SC; great-grandchildren, Kali and Evelyn Megela, Jackson, Grace and William Snyder and Roxy Reyes; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, William A. "Chip" Snyder Jr., Harry R. Snyder and Kurt Christopher; grandson, Michael Snyder; and daughter-in-law, Kimmy Haugh. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
