Barbara Ann (Farmer) Perkoski

Barbara Ann Perkoski, age 78, of Liberty Boro, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Born March 6, 1943 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Michael Farmer and the late Agnes Principal. She was a member of St. Eugene Church in Liberty Boro and would work as a secretary for the family business. She loved spending time on the family farm (Perkoski’s Farm) and will remember as a loving mother, grandmother, and as the glue that held the family together. She was survived by her husband Richard Perkoski; son Richard E. Perkoski of Liberty Boro; daughter Michelle Perkoski of Liberty Boro; and grandchildren Tyler and Cole Perkoski (children of Lee Gagliardi). Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, McKeesport on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10 AM at Saints Joachim and Anne Parish (St. Eugene Church/ St. Mark’s Parish site) officiated by Rev. Thomas A. Wagner. Burial is private at the request of the family.
