Barbara J. (Davis) Harrington

Barbara J. (Davis) Harrington, age 84, of West Elizabeth, and formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at UPMC Montefiore. She loved her grandchildren and cats. Born September 7, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Edward W. and Bertha (Hiles) Davis and wife of the late Ralph P. Harrington Sr. She is survived by son, Ralph P. (Kimberly) Harrington Jr. of Jefferson Hills; daughter, Sharon (Denny Bishop) Denne of Ligonier; son, Donald Wheeler of Clairton; eight grandchildren; and her cat, Tiny. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Robert "Peanut" Wheeler; brothers, James Davis and George "Jock" Davis; and sister, Darlene Stoffa. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery, West Mifflin.
