Barbara (Bell) Granovitz

Barbara Granovitz, age 82 of White Oak, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  Born February 7, 1939 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ann C. Bell.  A former registered nurse at both  Allegheny General Hospital and Western Psychiatric Hospital, Barbara also worked as a realtor for Coldwell Banker in Squirrel Hill.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel M. Granovitz and her brothers Richard and Robin Bell.  Barbara is survived by her son Michael (Dina) Granovitz of Elizabeth Twp.; her grandchildren Grace, Gabriella, and Eden; and her brother Michael Bell of California.  A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 2 PM to 6 PM in the Elizabeth Twp. Community Center (the former Girl Scout Camp) 429 Duncan Station Rd., McKeesport, PA 15135 .  Arrangements by the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles.
