Barbara J. (Bondy) Gonze

Barbara J. (Bondy) Gonze, age 82, of Elizabeth, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was the past president of the Women's Club of McDonald and Villas at Woodcreek in Bridgeville. Born December 12, 1941 in McDonald, she was a granddaughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Rogers) Bondy. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward Gonze; sons, Jeffrey (Laurie) Gonze of Elizabeth and Mark (Kathleen) Gonze of Lutherville, MD; grandchildren, Zachary Gonze, Cody (Lauren) Gonze, Kaylie (Joshua) Meliker, Kyle Gonze, James Barrickman and Ana Barrickman; great-grandchildren, Kalli Gonze and Thomas Gonze; dog, Jack. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 2 PM until the time of blessing at 4 PM with Fr. Edwin Wichman officiating.
