Anthony Aceto

Anthony Aceto, age 88 of Glassport, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born April 5, 1938 in Frasso Telesino, Italy, he was a son of the late Frank and Gioconda (DellaContrada) Aceto.   A devout member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, Queen of the Rosary Church, Anthony retired from maintenance/landscaping at Jefferson Hospital.  In his spare time, he loved to garden, hunt, fish, make wine, and really loved his dog Luigi.  Anthony was also a member of the Clairton Sportsmen's Club and the Glassport Sons of Italy.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Josephine (Norelli) Aceto, who passed away November 19, 2023.  Anthony is survived by his son Frank (Antoinette) Aceto of Jefferson Hills and their children Anthony and Joanna, and his sister Sandra of Naples, Italy.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 10 AM in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Pleasant Hills.  If attending the Mass, please go directly to the church. Entombment will follow to Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
