Anna Mae (Petras) Roberts

Anna Mae (Petras) Roberts, age 97, of Elizabeth, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Baldwin Health Center. She retired as an administrative assistant at St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp., where she was also a member. Born May 27, 1923 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Lucas) Petras and wife of late Joseph E. Roberts. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Jones of Glassport and Mary Jean (Doug) Winkler of South Park; grandchildren, John Roberts, Jr., Marianne Lassige, William Travis, Heather Travis-Ruggier, and Gregg, Scott, David and Mark Winkler; 11 great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, John Roberts, and great-grandson, John Roberts. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 10 AM in St. Michael Parish with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Parish, 101 McLay Drive, Elizabeth, PA 15037. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to 25 people at any given time inside the funeral home. Guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
