Andrew F. Grese

Andrew F. “Garby” Grese, age 74, of Linesville and formerly of Elizabeth, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026. A Navy veteran, he was a retired plumbing program manager for the Allegheny County Health Department and a former plumbing instructor for Plumbers Union Local 27. He enjoyed fishing and all things outdoors. Born July 17, 1952 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Andrew and Kathryn (Bowers) Grese. He is survived by his daughter, Darla Grese of Pasadena, MD; son, Andrew Grese of Forward Twp.; grandsons, Andrew, Mason and Brady Grese; sisters, Diane (Ken) Carr of White Oak, Vaune McGinn and Cathy Trbojevic; brother, Ted Trbojevic; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelli Grese. No visitation or services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Avenue, Room 1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
