Allan D. "Greenie" Green

Allan D. "Greenie" Green, age 74 of Rostraver Twp. and formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.  Born April 25, 1947 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Arba and Clara (Calabrese) Green.  A retired pile driver, most recently for the Carpenters' Union Local, and a Vietnam War Veteran of the US Army.  In his spare time, Allan was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping at his place in the mountains, but not nearly as much as he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years (52 next week) Marianne (Barella) Green; his children Shane (Rebekah) Green and Sunny (David) Davis, both of Rostraver Twp.; his grandchildren Isabella and Gabriella Green and Marlee and Landon Davis; his sister Sue Cheeseman of Ormond Beach, FL; his brother-in-law William E. (Virginia) Barella, Jr. of Rostraver Twp.; and also his nephews.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 1 PM until a 5 PM Service with Military Honors.
