Alan E. Scheiber, age 95, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital. He retired from the accounting department at U.S. Steel Clairton Works and was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael’s Church, Elizabeth Twp. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a former member of the St. Michael’s Bowling League and the Bentleyville Volunteer Fireman’s Band where he played the clarinet. Born June 4, 1930, in West Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Edward and Annabel (Finfinger) Scheiber. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol (Halt) Scheiber; son, Mark Scheiber of Forward Twp.; daughter, Leigh (Joshua) Washburn of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Jacob and Kaylee Washburn; brother, Edward (Mary Lou) Scheiber of Forward Twp.; also, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A blessing service will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 10 AM in the funeral home with Deacon Dale DiSanto officiating. Burial will follow at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
