William Truax Obituary

William Levi Truax, age 82, of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at home. He was a retired school principal for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the Daniel Keffer American Legion Post 75 in Clairton. He enjoyed hunting and softball. Born April 21, 1936 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Lee and Mabel (Garland) Truax. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Ann (DePasquali) Truax; and a niece and several nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Geraldine Gedrock, and brothers, Malcolm and David Truax. No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
