William Thomas "Tom" Shaw Sr.

William Thomas "Tom" Shaw Sr., age 72, of Beaumont, TX and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Veterans Administration Healthcare System in Oakland. He retired as an owner/operator independent truck driver. A former member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp., he was a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Born January 30, 1947 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Billie T. "Whitey" and Mary Patricia (McCurry) Shaw. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Anita M. (Loera) Shaw; daughter, Cathy Jo (Christine Kemp) Savage of Beaumont, TX; sons, William Thomas Shaw Jr. of Duquesne, Justin Shaw of Duquesne and Eric (Jennifer) Shaw of Port Vue; grandchildren, Ryan Williams, Lucas Shaw, Reynnie Sue Kemp, Parker Stelly and Arabella Shaw; sisters, Suzanne (James) Andrews of Hempfield Twp. and Marianne (Rick) Johnson of West Newton; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Peg Baker. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 6 p.m. until a blessing service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth, PA 15037.
