Wanda L. (Crownover) Hummer, age 89, of Elrama, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Country Care Manor in Fayette City. She retired after 20 years as postmaster at the Imperial Post Office. She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Jefferson Hills where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was a former member of Elrama Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary. Born July 30, 1929 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late Carey M. and Margaret V. (Drenko) Crownover and wife of the late Fred J. Hummer. She is survived by daughters, Denise (Darrell) School of Monongahela and Cindy (Keith) Arnold of Monongahela; sons, Jon A. (Kim) Hummer of East Millsboro and Brian (Cindie) Hummer of Pembroke Pines, FL; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Pfeiffer of Madison, FL; and brother, Carey E. Crownover of Florida; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Swift and Mary Arlene Vibostak. No visitation is planned. A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Pierre M. Falken-Han Jr. officiating.
