Janet and family, I am saddened to hear about Tom. You are all lifted in prayer. I have such great memories of Tom and all the times we spent together at the fire station, on the trucks, the ambulance, the fairs, and the pool. He was a great chief - strict and demanding - which at times made for some funny situations. I remember a time when we had to tell Tom we damaged the roof of the brand new ambulance because we went under the concrete awning at the Divine Redeemer - oh the laughter and then the fear. We got lost coming home from Yukon's fair one year, ended up in a field. Sat there with all the lights going and the sirens wailing - not sure how he found out, but he did! I learned a lot of my medic skills from Tom, learned responsibility and pride for our station. He was a great mentor and friend. Much love to you all and may God comfort each of you.

Janet and the boys I am sorry to hear about tom. A great guy that will be missed by all. I'll always remember the great times up in elk co the hunting fishing beer drinking guitar playing helping out on the new cabin. Elk hunting in Colorado his trips down to my farm to hunt deer and talk guns. I always gave him the best spot with the highest tree stand! He was afraid of heights and would always complain but liked that he saw 50+ deer a day! It would take two of us to talk and get him down at the end of the day! Lots of good times happy hunting short gun RIP. GUS
