Stella (Tassone) Heslop

Stella (Tassone) Heslop, age 87, of Glassport, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at home. A retired clerk for H&H Fish Market in McKeesport, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Glassport for 72 years. Born March 24, 1930 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Concetta (Tassone) Tassone and wife of the late Richard J. Heslop Sr. She is survived by daughters, Lorena Walker of Glassport and Connie Falvo of St. Petersburg, FL; son, Richard J. (Lucy) Heslop of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Ronnie (Debbie) Walker of Indianapolis, IN, Cheryl Morales of St. Petersburg, FL, and Robyn Walker of Washington, D.C.; great-grandsons, Killian Wright, Isaiah Walker, Truman Morales; brother, John (Betty) Tassone of Scottsdale, AZ; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Ann Heslop, and 15 siblings. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10 AM in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Lou Hutsko officiating. Burial will follow in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.
