Ronald D. Sninsky

Ronald D. Sninsky, age 71, of Elizabeth Twp., and formerly of Green County, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. He retired as a car hop for ELG Metals Inc. in McKeesport. An Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was the owner of the former Ron's Butchering on Weigles Hill Road in Elizabeth Twp. and a member of the Steelworkers Union. Born August 16, 1946 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Gazdich) Sninsky. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diane Sninsky; children, Rebecca (Ray) Cavanaugh of Monongahela, Ronald D. Sninsky Jr. of Pittsburgh and Melissa (Robert) Coulson of Liberty Borough; five grandchildren; siblings, Michael Sninsky and Patricia Ann Hira, both of Connecticut and John Sninsky and Catherine Gruber, both of Pennsylvania; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William K. Little officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp., with military honors.
