Ronald E. Marraccini

Ronald E. Marraccini, age 69, of Monongahela, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at home. He retired as a manager for Marraccini Grocery Store in Elizabeth. An Army veteran with two tours of duty in Vietnam, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and the outdoors. Born July 21, 1949 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Eugene M. and Louise M. (Gugino) Marraccini. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen M. (McNeil) Marraccini; son, Charles Marraccini of Elizabeth; daughter, Carrie (Donald) Powell of Pittsburgh; stepsons, David (Melissa) Hixenbaugh of Tennessee and Ronald F. Hixenbaugh of North Belle Vernon; also, cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Louise Marraccini. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Michael Parish with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
