Richard I. Kirsch

Richard I. Kirsch, age 71 of Huber Heights, OH, passed away at home on Saturday, October 27, 2018 .  Born August 14, 1947 in Fargo, ND, he was a son of the late Richard A. and Inger C. (Solvick) Kirsch.  A career veteran of the United States Air Force and Vietnam Veteran, Richard was a member of St. Peter's Parish in Huber Heights, OH and its Knights of Columbus, as well as his local American Legion and VFW.  In his spare time, he loved to camp and watch his westerns.  Richard is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Elizabeth (Chasko) Kirsch; his siblings Mary Westlund of Fargo, ND, Marlo (Robert) Howard of Holt, MO, and Jack (Linda) Kirsch of Brooklyn Center, MN; his brother-in-law Joseph (Linda) Chasko of Clairton; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Donald Kirsch and his sister-in-law Linda Chasko.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton, at 10 AM on Friday, November 2, 2018.   Interment with full military honors will be held later that day in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
