Raymond Vern Fisher

Raymond Vern Fisher, age 82, of West Elizabeth, and formerly of Bridgeport, CT passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. An Army veteran, he was a security guard for St. Moritz in Bunola. Born October 6, 1935 in Yonkers, NY, he was a son of the late Vernon and Catherine Fisher and husband of the late Arlene (Halt) Fisher. He is survived by daughter, Diane L. (Ronald) Sninsky of Elizabeth; granddaughters, Melissa (Robert) Coulson of Liberty Borough and Rebecca (Ray) Cavanaugh of Monongahela; grandson, Ronald Sninsky Jr. of Pittsburgh; and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Camron, Emily, Vanessa and Noah. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by son, Eugene Drury. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 12 Noon to 2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Park with Pastor Tim Green officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
