Peppino J. Migliori

Peppino "Peno" J. Migliori, age 85, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. He retired after 40 years as a steelworker for U.S. Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin. He was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth and an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was born and raised in Donora and his final residence was Elizabeth. He had a passion for gardening and decorating his house all year long, especially at Christmas where he raised money for Children's Hospital. Born June 10, 1933 in Donora, he was a son of the late Nicola and Josephine (Rotto) Migliori. He is survived by his sons, Nicola Migliori of Greenville, NC and Dean (Susan) Migliori of Rostraver Twp.; grandchildren, Eric (Jessica) Migliori of Monongahela, Nick Migliori of Pittsburgh, and Marco and Anthony Migliori, both of Greenock; sisters, Loretta Micheuax of Davies, FL and Joy Walterman of Donora; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Dolores Amend, Connie Bercik, Petty DiCenzo, and Dealo Migliori. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6-8 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A blessing will take place on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
