Paul Kensky, age 93 of Clairton, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 in Jefferson Hospital. He was a conductor for Union Railroad in McKeesport; member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton; a Navy Veteran serving during World War II; a member of the American Legion Post # 75 Daniel Keffer, Sons of Columbus Santa Maria Council #4, Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #248; and was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors and picking wild mushrooms. Born December 16, 1925 in Clairton, Paul was a son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Dora) Kensky. He is preceded in death by his wife Olga (Perich) Kensky. He is survived by daughter Paula (Paul D.) Kensky Lee of Clairton, brother, Stephen Kensky of Butler, sister-in-law Virginia Pekala of Clairton, and also nieces & nephews,. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary Pfiefer, Betty Mauser, Ann Dorcon, and Joseph, John, Michael, Andrew and George Kensky. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10 am in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.
