Michael E. Krol Jr.

Michael E. Krol Jr., age 87, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Dunlevy Manor in Dunlevy. He was an Army veteran having served in the Korean War. A member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp., he was a retired mechanic for Sturman-Larkin Ford in West Mifflin. Born January 18, 1932 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Michael E. Kroll Sr. and the late Sophie Krol, and husband of the late Shirley (Walton) Krol. He is survived by sisters, Helen Seliga of Elizabeth Twp. and Johanna Roeder of Florida; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A blessing will take place on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 10 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
