Matthew Perry Venturini

It is with great sadness that the family of Matthew Perry Venturini announce his sudden, unexpected passing on September 10, 2018 at the age of 36 years.  Matt had an extraordinarily kind heart, was dependable, and was quick to help those in need.  His quick wit and easy-going disposition made for fast and genuine friendships.  Matt valued family and community, which he demonstrated through his actions every day of his life.  He loved all three of his children dearly and treasured being their father.  Matthew graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and Virginia Tech and continued his passion for learning throughout his life.  He worked at Prince William County Schools in Virginia.  He enjoyed reading books, baking, listening to all types of music ranging from AC/DC to Croatian folk songs, welding, riding motorcycles, and most of all, spending time with his children.  Matthew is survived by his loving wife Rebekah Venturini and their daughter, Kiernan Marie Venturini age 2 and by his two sons, Giovanni Ash Bailey age 7 with mother Caroline Bailey, and Luca Ealley Venturini age 7 months with mother Rebecca Ealley.  Loving parents; Perry and Donna Venturini.  Cherished siblings; Jenna (Bill) Bernabe, Meghan Venturini and Dominic (Saya) Venturini.  Beloved grandparents; Ciro and Irene (Morosko) Venturini, Mark and Sally (McCloskey) Kunf of White Oak, PA.  Nephew and nieces: Gino, Mia, Samantha and Lena.  Matt will be greatly missed by all of his relatives and friends, and especially by his aunts, uncles and cousins.  Visitation for Matthew will take place on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 6 to 9 PM at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home and Crematory, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, VA 22193.  A Funeral Service will be held there the next day at 11 AM.  Friends will also be received at the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home with procession and burial to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in North Huntingdon.
