Margaret A. Pershing

Margaret A. (Tellman) Pershing, age 79, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at home. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was a former operator with AT&T Telephone and a former sales representative for Kaufmann's at Century III. Born March 14, 1938 in Whittaker, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Weges) Tellman. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard Pershing; daughters, Debbie Bickerton of Belle Vernon and Carol (Peter) Janicki of Blaine Hill; son, Chuck Pershing of Elizabeth; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John and Paul Tellman. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Michael Parish with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
