Lucy (Darcangelo) Koval

Lucy Koval, age 93 of Port Vue, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in Southwestern Nursing Center.  Born March 19, 1926 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Darcangelo and Mary (Carrozza) Darcangelo Spacassi.  A retired nurse at UPMC McKeesport Hospital and a member of St. Mark's Parish, Lucy was preceded in death by her husband John J. Koval, who passed away May 3, 1976, and her sisters Rose Harden and Dolores Molinari.  She is survived by her daughters Kerry (Jess) McGinty of Port Vue and Tammy (Michael) Caruso of Richardson, TX; her grandchildren Ryan (Amanda) McGinty of Newark, DE and Jessica (Ryan) VanLandingham of Kansas City, KS; and also nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 10 AM until a 12 PM Blessing in the Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas A. Wagner officiating.  Procession and burial will follow to Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.  Memorial contributions in Lucy's name should be made to the Food Bank at St. Mark's, 1125 Romine Ave., Port Vue, PA 15133.
