Katherine (Coban) Cindric

Katherine Cindric, age 94 of North Versailles and formerly of Versailles Boro, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in UPMC East in Monroeville.  Born December 1, 1923 in Versailles, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline (Falec) Coban.  A member of St. Patrick's Church in McKeesport, the CFU Lodge 146 of Versailles, and its former Ladies' and Pensioneers' Clubs, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Roy F. Cindric, who passed away March 23, 1984, and her siblings: Steve, Joseph, Frank, Andrew and John Coban, Mary Chefuta, Ann Kolich, and Zora Arway.  She is survived by her children Joanne (Mark) Ludwig, with whom she resided, and Joseph P. (Cynthia) Cindric of Versailles; her grandchildren Christopher, Lori, and Sarah Cindric and Beth Steele; her great-grandsons Zachary and Benjamin Cindric; her brother Mitch (Eleanor) Coban of McKeesport; and also nieces and nephews, including Emmy Beck.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 2 to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Patrick's Church with Fr. Thomas Galvin officiating.  Procession and interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue.
