John Evans, Jr.

John Evans, Jr., age 94 of Lincoln Borough, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 in Southwestern Nursing Center, West Mifflin.  Born April 6, 1925 in Perryopolis, he was a son of the late John Evans, Sr. and Pauline (Florian) Evans.  A US Navy Veteran of World War II, John retired as a Motor Inspector and Electrician for US Steel Homestead Works and was a member of St. John Mark's Lutheran Church in Homestead.  He is survived by his children William (Robyn) Evans of Lincoln Borough, Mark (Krissy) Evans of Wexford, and Frances Gwen Brown of Etna; and his grandchildren Nora, Mark, George, Noah, and Joshua.  Interment is private at the request of the family.  Arrangements by the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles.
