Joanne D. (Kostelac) Lesher

Joanne D. Lesher, age 76 of Liberty Borough, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born February 24, 1941 in Duquesne, she was a daughter of the late Steve T. Kostelac and Julia (Gamrat) Tomovcsik Kostelac Truan.  Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, the late Charles William Lesher, who died March 19, 2002, and her brother John Tomovscik.  She is survived by her children Sharon Mallon of Penn Hills, Linda (Chuck) Gutilla of Ingomar, Julianne (Jim) Holt of Liberty Borough, Daniel (Tammy) Sabol of Crescent, and Andrew (Kathy) Sabol of Oklahoma; her twelve grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; and her stepfather William Truan of Lincoln Place.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the funeral home at 1 PM with Elder Chuck DeBellis officiating.  Burial will be private in Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.
