Jane (Braddock) Lowe

Jane Lowe, age 92 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born April 8, 1925 in Monessen, she was a daughter of the late Glenn and Sara I. (McGauhey) Braddock.  A fiercely proud World War II, US Army Air Corps Veteran of the WAC Corps, Jane retired as a secretary in the personnel department at US Steel's Irvin Works.  She also worked as the church secretary in her church: Wilson Presbyterian in Clairton.  Her family will love and miss her always, and they will remember her as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Jane is survived by her husband of 68 years Jack G. Lowe; her daughter Jay Ann (the late Tex) Brinker of Jefferson Hills; her son Jeffrey G. (Kimberly) Lowe of Jefferson Hills; her grandchildren Jason (Becca) Brinker of Jefferson Hills, Jenna (Jeffrey) Freund of Jefferson Hills, and Jennifer (Thomas) Campedel of Pleasant Hills; her great-grandchildren Jayden, Jonah, Jack, Jordan, Beatrice, Rosaline; her sister Glenna Braddock of Harrisburg; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Elinor Davis.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10 AM with Pastor Ben Robinson officiating.  Procession and burial with military honors will follow to Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.  Memorial contributions in Jane's name should be made to the Wilson Presbyterian Church, 400 N. 4th. St., Clairton, PA 15025.
