Herman G. Bohinski

Herman G. Bohinski, age 82, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. and retired as a welder for Westinghouse in Trafford. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. Born November 25, 1936 in Wilmerding, he was a son of the late Emil and Stella (Tyburski) Bohinski and husband of the late Suzanne F. (Paterra) Bohinski. He is survived by daughter, Carol (David) Zimmerman of Hillsborough, NJ; sons, David (Annette) Bohinski of North Huntingdon, Walter (Cindy) Bohinski of Dublin and Patrick (Cindy) Bohinski of Brookline; grandchildren, Ben (Lauren) Bohinski, Zack (Rachel) Bohinski, Kathryn Zimmerman, Dillon Zimmerman, Adrian Bohinski and Marco Bohinski; step-grandchildren, Keith Rossi, Kirk Pratt and Katie Spratt; great-grandchild, Lilly; step-great-grandchildren, Ryder, Logan, Makayla and Liam; brother, Emil Bohinski of Monroeville; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 2-4  and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Michael Parish with Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made in remembrance to his wife Suzanne to the ALS Association Western PA Chapter, 416 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
