Helene M. (Cisco) McConeghy

Helene M. "Helen" McConeghy, age 82 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 in Southwestern Nursing Center in West Mifflin.  Born May 1, 1935 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Nick J. and Sophia (Vukovich) Cisco.  A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, Helen was a local hairdresser who also worked at the former Thompson's Convenience Store in Elizabeth.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander J. McConeghy, who passed away December 9, 2004, her daughter Michele Lesofsky Cunningham, and her siblings Raymond, Joanne, and Carol Ann Cisco.  Helen is survived by her daughter Rochelle McConeghy of Maryland; her grandchildren Lisa (Tim) Stockdill of Belle Vernon, Howard (Lindsay) Lesofsky of North Huntingdon, Angelina Byrd, and Burgundy and Britney Robinson; her great-grandchildren, including Kaitlyn and Jacob Stockdill and Reese Lesofsky; and also nieces and nephews.  There is no visitation scheduled for Helen.  Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton.  Everyone please meet at the church.   Procession and burial will follow to Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.  Arrangements by the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clariton.
