Helen R. (Roman) Rybar

Helen R. (Roman) Rybar, age 97, of Finleyville, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at home. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and she enjoyed growing, picking, drying and arranging her own flowers. Born September 2, 1921 in Finleyville, she was a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Pliska) Roman and wife of the late Raymond B. Rybar. She is survived by daughter, Barbara J. (John) Kampert of Jefferson Hills; son, Raymond B. (Heidi) Rybar, Jr. of Camp Verde, AZ; grandchildren, John R. (Lanna Parker) Kampert of Bozeman, MT and Louis S. Kampert of Floreffe; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Gaska, Rachel Creighton, Ann Creighton and Josephine Harding and brothers, William, Paul, John and Leonard Roman and Joseph Urbanik. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A blessing will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Robert M. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in James Chapel Cemetery, Finleyville.
