Frank C. Pavlecic, Jr.

Frank C. Pavlecic, Jr., age 65 of Versailles, passed away at home on Sunday, February 25, 2018.  Born October 15, 1952, he is the son of Mary (Basa) Pavlecic of McKeesport and the late Frank C. Pavlecic, Sr., who passed away August 16, 2006.  A graduate of Penn State University, Frank was a former teacher at both Serra High School and McKeesport School District.  He was very active in the Croatian Fraternal Union and its sports leagues, serving as past president of Lodge #146 and treasurer of its Men's Club.  He was also active with the Junior Tammies of Versailles and a member of the former musical group, Adriatic Sons.  Besides his mother, Frank is survived by his daughter Nicole Cable, and her husband Ben, of North Huntingdon; his grandson Ethan Cable; his stepchildren Scott (Jennifer), Jeffrey, and Tracy Harrison; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his companion Cindy Harrison and his brother Gary Pavlecic.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Blessing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11 AM with Deacon Dale DiSanto officiating.  Procession and burial will follow to Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue.
