Francis G. Rush, Sr.

Francis G. Rush, Sr., age 73 of McKeesport, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born August 16, 1944 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Francis and Catherine (O'Shea) Rush.  A retired machinist at Westinghouse Corp. in East Pittsburgh, Francis was a US Army Veteran, a member of St. Mark's Parish in Port Vue, and a member of both the Port Vue American Legion and the Buena Vista VFC.  He is survived by his children David Camara of Greenock, Amy Lynn Rush of Elizabeth, and Francis G. (Kerry) Rush, Jr. of Munhall; his grandchildren Tyler, Harley, Brittney, Kaylee, Ashley, and Meghan; his great-grandchildren Michael and Nolan; his sister Kathleen (John) Kashawlic of Penn Hills; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Francis was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Rush.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 2 to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Mark's Parish - Port Vue Site with Fr. Daniel Straughn officiating.  Interment will be at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
