Felix Zender

Felix Zender, age 89 of Clairton, passed away at home on Monday, February 26, 2018.  Born February 5, 1929 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Felix and Anna (DeBiassi) Zender.  A US Army Veteran and member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Felix worked for both US Steel Clairton Works and the City of Clairton.  He is survived by his nephews Fr. Richard, James, and Jeffrey Perozich and Arthur, Danny, and Dennis Zender; his nieces Sherry Heiser and Karen Condon.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Corrine Zender, Arthur Zender, Sr., and Rita C. Perozich.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in St. Clare of Assisi Church at 10 AM with his nephew, Fr. Richard Perozich officiating.  Procession and interment will follow to St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.
