Eugene Scarlato Obituary

Eugene J. Scarlato, age 90 of Clairton, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Born May 2, 1929 in Clairton, he was the son of the late Rocco and Elizabeth (Desiderio) Scarlato. A US Army Veteran, Eugene was a longtime barber in Clairton. Besides his parents, he joins his wife, the late Rayna (Cochran) Scarlato, who passed away December 19, 2002, and his sisters Enes Coughenour, Mary Ann Miller, and Rose M. Schepis. Eugene is survived by his sons Rocco (Susan) Scarlato and Eugene (Peggy) Scarlato; grandchildren Melissa (Tom) Fulmer, Roxanne (Bob) Evans, and Rocco Scarlato; great-grandchildren Hunter Fulmer and McKenzie and Abigail Evans; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews especially Lizzi Oskin and Jim Bayto; brother-in-law Bob Schepis; and his longtime friend Lora Pittman. There is no visitation planned and services are private at the request of the family.
