Dolores Esther (Crosser) Satterfield

Dolores Esther (Crosser) Satterfield, age 88, of Versailles, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. She was the most loving mother, grandmother and woman to all who knew her. She was the former owner of a flower shop and an upholstery shop. She was a former crossing guard and Auxiliary Policewoman in Elizabeth. Born February 11, 1929 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late David and Ruth (Walker) Crosser Allen and wife of the late Donald H. Satterfield Sr. She is survived by children, Thomas (Loretta) Martin Jr. of Elizabeth, James Martin of Elizabeth, Linda (Ralph Nevin) Beetlestone of Forward Twp., Cheryl (Joseph) Dalonges of Ridgeley, WV, Vanessa (D.J.) Satterfield-Virgona of Clairton, Krista (Joe) Sabo of Elizabeth, and Donald H. (Jerri) Satterfield Jr. of Versailles; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Carla Rizzi; sisters, Nancy Clipper of West Mifflin, Lizzy Evans of Elizabeth, Cathy Evans of West Virginia, and Karen Knauf of Michigan; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Paul F. Martin Sr.; grandson, Paul F. Martin Jr.; sister, Lorraine Larkin; and spouses, Thomas A. Martin Sr. and Regis C. Beetlestone. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10 AM in funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. William K. Little officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
