Dolores J. (Dwornick) Kolodziej

Dolores J. Kolodziej, age 88 of McKeesport, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport.  Born November 4, 1931 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Marion (Sorocko) Dwornick.  A member of Corpus Christi Parish who also attended St. Patrick's Church, Dolores worked as a secretary in the warehouse office for G.C. Murphy & Co. in McKeesport.  Her family will remember her giving heart and her many, many friends.  Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Kolodziej and her brothers Ray and Tom Dwornick.  She is survived by her son Ronald J. Kolodziej of McKeesport; her sister Lorraine (Dwornick) Jesionowski of Versailles; and also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces-and-nephews, and great-great-nieces-and-nephews.  Visitation for Dolores is private at the request of the family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 11 AM in St. Patrick's Church, McKeesport, with Fr. Terry O'Connor officiating.  Procession and burial will follow to St. Mary's Polish Cemetery, White Oak.  Arrangements by the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles.
