David R. Gorgey

David R. Gorgey, age 71 of Library and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in HCR ManorCare, McMurray.  Born January 10, 1948 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Veronica (Haluska) Gorgey.  A US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, David was a graduate of Slippery Rock University and worked at the McMurray Giant Eagle.  He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Uremovich of Elrama; his nieces and nephews Beth Ann Henderson, Sharon (D.J.) Julian-Milas, Marc (Susan) Julian, George Uremovich, and Karen (Brian) Rizzo; and also many cousins.  Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister Lillian K.
