Carolyn M. (Hager) Wakefield

Carolyn M. (Hager) Wakefield, age 76 of White Oak, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at home.  Born September 16, 1942 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Santez) Hager.  She enjoyed ceramics, calligraphy but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  Carolyn is survived by her husband of 56 years Alan Wakefield; sons Jon (Joey) Wakefield of McKeesport and Jeff (Katie) Wakefield of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren who live with her Alexia and Elise Wakefield; other grandchildren Frank A., Landon, Brady, Riley, Haston, Abigail, Hanna, Jessica, and Ethan; sister Nancy (George) Madeja of Brentwood; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons Frank Wakefield and Robert K. Wakefield and grandson Vaughn Wakefield.  Friends will be received at the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, Versailles on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.  A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Alvin O. Berkley officiating.  Interment is private at the request of the family.
