Bernadette Ann (Chasko) Stricklin

Bernadette Ann (Chasko) Stricklin, age 79, of Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital. She retired as an office manager for Biddle Chiropractic in Elizabeth. She was a former member of St. Michael Parish. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born May 5, 1939 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Rakoci) Chasko. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James R. Stricklin; daughters, Renee (Robert L.) Gillie of West Newton, Dana Stricklin of Elizabeth and Jill (Ronald) Orosz of Baton Rouge, LA; son, James M. (Lisa) Stricklin of Plum; grandchildren, Dr. Brandon (Theresa), Zachary, Garrett, Aaron, Jacob (Cassandra), Benjamin, Nicholas and Gabrielle; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Claire, Willow and Rylee; and sister, Patricia (Duane) Coulson of Elizabeth; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Michael Parish with Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
