Our Secretaries & Receptionists

Like any professional business will tell you, a good firm cannot run efficiently without a great secretary. Our secretaries do the work that no one sees – the filings, the paperwork, the phone calls, the data entry – that is vital to how we run our businesses.

Patti Bekavac

Patti is Dan Sr.'s wife and Dan Jr.'s mother; but she truly is much more than the boss's wife. In 2020, Dan and Patti are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary after being high school sweethearts at Clairton High. She lives in Elizabeth Township with Dan.

Linda Bernardo

Linda is assisting with clerical duties at our Clairton location. Her husband, Ralph, has been one of drivers for years. They reside in Jefferson Hills.

Megan Ferraro

Megan started with us in 2021 and assists with evening viewings, as well as weekends, at our Elizabeth location. She resides in Elizabeth Township with her daughter.

Carol Waterloo Frazier

After growing up in Elizabeth Township and working at the former Daily News in McKeesport, Carol began working for the funeral homes in 2016. She is our full-time secretary – taking care of the logistics associated with our funerals – and resides in Elizabeth Twp. with her husband, Bob.

Patty Kercell

Patty is our newest receptionist. Her and her husband, Kevin, are long time resident of Versailles.

Helen "Lenny" Krimm

Lenny began working with us in late 2019, but we have been friends since her son and Dan Jr. played little league together in Mt. Vernon Youth Baseball. We are lucky to have her with us. She resides in Elizabeth Township.

Bernice McIntosh

A lifetime resident of Clairton, Bernice began working at the funeral homes in 2003. Bernice is one of our part-time secretaries, taking care of administrative work involving our funerals. She still maintains her residence in Clairton.

Nicole Olbrys

Nicole started with us at the beginning of 2022 and assists with evening and weekend viewings at our Elizabeth location. Nicole also works at UPMC in Pleasant Hills. She resides in Elizabeth Township with her husband, Josh and her dog, Enzo.

Janet Ruffing

Janet grew up in Clairton and now lives in Elizabeth. She is our night time receptionist at our Clairton and Versailles locations and has worked with our funeral homes for twenty-six years. Janet is very active in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church and its choir.

Tanya St. Angelo

Tanya began working with us in 2022 and assists with evening and weekend viewings at our Elizabeth location. Tanya is also an employee of UPMC in White Oak. She resides in Elizabeth Township with her husband Tony, and four children.

Betty Kay Swartz

Betty Kay worked at our Elizabeth location in the 90’s and returned on a part-time basis after her retirement from DCK Worldwide. She resides in West Elizabeth.
