Other Support Staff

Directing a funeral takes much more than a funeral director. There are members of our staff who work behind the scenes to make sure our funeral homes and funeral services run with unparalleled efficiency. From building maintenance, to hairdressing, to taking flowers to a gravesite ahead of a funeral procession, each member of our staff is very important to us and very important to our conducting a funeral.

John Naccarato - A retired shoemaker at his business in Olympia Shopping Center in Versailles and a retired employee of the Elizabeth Township Street Department, John began working at the funeral home six years ago. He takes care of building maintenance for us; but, more importantly, he keeps us all in good spirits. He lives in Elizabeth Township with his wife Carol.

Joe Maksin - Joe was a friend of the Bekavac family ever since, as a young boy, he would help Patty Bekavac's mother, Mrs. Yavor, with the groceries. Joe has always lent a hand, whether its keeping our cars clean or early morning snow removal on the day of a funeral. He lives in Elizabeth Township with his wife Jayne.

Melva Lugares - Melva has been helping out at the Versailles location long before it became Bekavac Funeral Home. Helping out Steve Pavlic, she thankfully stayed on with us, and has been at our Versailles funeral home for as long as we have. She lives in Versailles with her husband Joe.

April Grant - April is our hairstylist in the Clairton and Elizabeth locations. Many times, her final touch with the hairdressing ensures the most natural memory of the deceased. She lives in Jefferson Hills with her husband David and two children.

Lynn Obusek - Upon arrival to Versailles, Lynn was one of the first people that befriended us when Patty took young Dan for his first haircut at their new house. She takes care of the hairdressing in Versailles and lives there with her daughter.

Don and Judy Holmes - Residents of Glassport, Don and Judy take care of our floral delivery. On the day of a funeral, when flowers sent to a family must be taken ahead of procession to the grave or to a veterans memorial, Don and Judy are the ones to help. And, that help is a big one.

Michael Driver - A retired director of information services for Materials Research Society, Mike is responsible for the multimedia production of our Memorial Tribute Videos. Highly skilled with computers, Mike has taken a leisure activity of his own and brought these talents to other families in the form of highly personalized tribute videos. Mike resides in Elizabeth Township with his wife Mary Ellen.
