 Like any professional business will tell you, a good firm cannot run efficiently without a great secretary. Our secretaries do the work that no one sees - the filings, the paperwork, the phone calls, the data entry - that is vital to how we run our businesses.
Karen Pasquerell - After growing up in Elizabeth Township and working at the former Equibank and National City Bank in Clairton, Karen began working for the funeral homes in 1997. She is our full-time secretary - taking care of the logistics associated with our funerals - and resides in Pleasant Hills with her husband, Gerard.
Bernice McIntosh - A lifetime resident of Clairton, Bernice began working at the funeral homes in 2003. Bernice is our weekend secretary, taking care of administrative work involving our funerals. She still maintains her residence in Clairton.
Patti Bekavac - Patti is Dan Sr.'s wife and Dan Jr.'s mother; but, at the Versailles location, she truly is much more than the boss's wife. Whether it's cleaning the gutters or greeting visitors, Patti does everything with a smile and genuineness that are hard to match. In 2010, Dan and Patti celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary after being high school sweethearts at Clairton High. She lives in Elizabeth Township with Dan.
Mary Ann Barrickman - Mary Ann is our daytime receptionist at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home in Elizabeth. Going on her 11th year with the Bekavac Family, she resides in West Elizabeth with her husband Ed.
 Janet Ruffing - Janet grew up in Clairton and now lives in Elizabeth. She is our night time receptionist at our Clairton and Versailles locations and has worked with our funeral homes for over a decade. Janet is very active in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church and the Elizabeth Community Chorus.
Billie Tibbitt - Billie works as our secretary at Rudez Granite and Bronze and Jefferson Hills Crematory. She also assists in the evenings at our Elizabeth location as a receptionist. She lives in Greenock with her husband Bill.
Patty Toprani - Patty has been a full time secretary and receptionist at our Versailles location for many years now. Born in Dunbar, she is a resident of Elizabeth Township.
