Milena "Mildred" Dokmanovich, age 96, of White Oak, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was the retired co-owner, for forty-five years, of Tube City Cafe (aka "Markos") in McKeesport and a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, McKeesport and its former Mother's Club. Born June 12, 1913 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Dusan and Cvijeta Mrvos and her loving husband, Marko Dokmanovich, who passed away in 1981. She is survived by daughter, Dorothy (John) Ratesic of White Oak; son, George (Carol) Dokmanovich of Whitehall; granddaughter, Dr. Mara (David) Koetke of New York City; grandson, Marko (Julie) Ratesic of New York City; great granddaughter, Alexandra Milly Koetke; great grandson, Nicholas Ratesic; sisters, Daisy Ivkovich and Dorothy Shumkaroff, both of Mckeesport; nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles on Thursday, March 11th from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A Pomen service will take place in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30AM followed by a 10:00AM funeral service in St. Sava's Church, with Reverend Stevo Rocknage officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Sava's Renovation Fund, 901 Hartman Street, McKeesport, PA 15132.
