Phyllis Caylor Heil

Phyllis Caylor Heil, age 95, of Forward Twp., passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. A member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, she retired after 15 years as a secretary at Community College of Allegheny County South Campus. Born August 24, 1922 in Ringgold, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ethel (Stewart) Caylor and wife of the late Arthur Nelson Heil. She is survived by daughters, Janet A. (David) Heil Barker of Elizabeth Twp., Judith Heil Mirro of Forward Twp., and Joan Heil (Robert) Colbert of Johnstown; grandchildren, Ben (Lauren) Mirro, Greg (Olga) Barker, Andrea Mirro (Brian) Madar, Elizabeth Colbert, and Kristine (Mark) Ference; great-grandchildren, Emma Madar, Lola Madar, Mayrelia Smirnov, Dayla Smirnov, Celestia Barker, Hayes Ference, and Izabella Ference; sisters, Edith Elkin of Punta Gorda, FL, and Irene Martz and Janet (Duane) Simpson, both of Sigel; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Walter Pietschmann officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda United Presbyterian Church, 314 South Third Street, Elizabeth, PA 15037.
