Ken, Gia, Uncle Jim, Lisa, Keith, Denise, Kirk and Wade,
I am so sad about Michelle's passing. I cant even imagine how you are all feeling. Gia your mom loved you so much, I could see that anytime she was with you whether it was in a photo or in person. Michelle was the kindest of persons. I know she fought the best fight for all of you and she suffers no more. I wish I was there with you all to hug and support all of you. Death is not the end it is the beginning of a new journey to be reunited with those that have gone before and prepare and watch over those that will come. Know she watches over all of you especially her Gia. You will see her again. May you feel peace and comfort at this time. Hugs, prayers and love to you all.

I was so sad to hear of Michelle's passing. I can picture her in my mind as the 21 year old new nurse who joined our 5East staff so many years ago. She was always like one of my own "kids", even as she grew and matured into the woman and nurse she became. I will always have a warm spot in my heart when I think of her. Praying for the comfort that God provides to Gia, Ken and all the rest of her family.

To all the family who are affected by this tremendous loss:

My family and I are praying for you all, that the GOD of all comfort and grace be with you and comfort your hurting hearts right now, and fill you with His peace and His joy through this difficult time, for the LORD is close to the broken hearted and comforts them that mourn

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die (John 11:25-26)

Dear Uncle Jim, Lisa, Ken, Gia, Denise, Keith, Kirk, and Wade,

Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of Michelle’s passing. But her smile, her laugh, her easy-going personality, her determination, her courage, and her example of enduring to the end will forever remain in my heart and mind. You are such a strong family. I know your family unity will get you through this heartache. Michelle is free from pain now, and in the arms of loved ones who have passed on. I can only imagine the reunion between mother and daughter. ☺ She is gone only temporarily. It will be a joyous occasion when we all cross over the veil and see her again. I hope I will be able to endure as well as Michelle did. My love goes out to each one of you, and especially to Gia. May you all find peace, strength, and comfort as you move forward. Here’s a scripture I really like that you might find comforting:

“Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not. Behold the wounds which pierced my side, and also the prints of the nails in my hands and feet; be faithful, keep my commandments, and ye shall inherit the kingdom of heaven.” (D&C 6:36-37)

Ken, Gia and all: I am so sorry to hear about Michelle. She was a true friend and colleague and she meant the world to me. Michelle was one of the most selfless person I ever met and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her family and friends. I watched her grow and develop as a nurse, manager, wife and mother. Her family was her world. She was taken from us way too early but heaven acquired a beautiful angel. I am very sad and hope God will provide comfort for all of you. Michelle will remain in my heart and memories forever. God Bless all of you.
