Marie R. (Tomko) Mourey

Marie R. (Tomko) Mourey, age 91 of Jefferson Hills and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born December 7, 1926 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Michael P. and Anna (Cominsky) Tomko.  A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, Marie loved puzzles in her later years, especially on her tablets.  She was also a devout Catholic, watching daily Mass on EWTN and saying her rosary at least twice daily, and a dog lover her whole life, especially her current Yorkie, Gracy.  Besides her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Mourey, who passed away in January of 1973, and her siblings Michael Tomko and Elizabeth Tomko Kopil.  She is survived by her children Patricia A. Mourey of Jefferson Hills and Thomas F. (Shirley Majzer) Mourey of Nanty Glo; her grandchildren Christopher S. (Juneann Mentor), Aaron T. (Carrie Gordon) and Catherine L. Mourey; her great-grandchildren Christen, Lauren, Abigail, Sarah, and John; and also nieces and nephews.  There is no visitation scheduled for Marie.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in St. Clare of Assisi Church, 460 Reed St., Clairton, PA 15025 at 10 AM.  If attending, please come directly to the church between 9:30 AM and 10 AM.  Procession and burial will follow to St. Clare Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions or Masses in Marie's name should be made to St. Clare of Assisi Parish, address above.  Arrangements by the A.J.
