Helen J. Yanik

Helen J. Yanik, age 98 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Mt. Vernon of South Park.  Born October 27, 1919 in Jefferson Hills, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Vicenec) Yanik.  A retiree from Westinghouse Corp. and a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, Helen was preceded in death by her siblings: Mary Cundra and Stella, Joseph, Frank, John, Steve, Albert, Benjamin and William Yanik.  She is survived by nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 9 AM until procession to a 12 Noon Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church with burial following in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.
